We have the right application solution to protect your electrical equipment.
Today, Tridelta surge arresters stand for best quality, high reliability and maintenance-free operation over the entire service life worldwide. Our portfolio of metal oxide arresters for standard high voltage applications is complemented by arresters for customer-specific special applications.
High voltageTridelta Meidensha has a long tradition in the production of medium voltage arresters. The first medium voltage arresters were produced in 1962. Different creepage distances and a wide range of connections and accessories enable customized solutions.
Our medium voltage arresters are used to protect medium voltage networks and equipment from overvoltages caused by lightning and switching surges.
Tridelta Meidensha offers surge arresters up to 4.8 kV DC for use on rail vehicles or trolley buses and for protecting overhead lines and rectifier systems.
The arresters feature maximum reliability and are available in both porcelain and silicone housings.
In addition to the range of surge arresters, Tridelta Meidensha offers various monitoring devices.
With our surge counters of the DCC series, with or without leakage current measurement, and our control spark gaps, impending faults can also be detected at an early stage before they lead to an impairment of the security of supply.
In addition to the classic use as station arresters, surge arresters are increasingly being used as line arresters.
Line arresters are an effective and economical way to protect both existing and new transmission lines from lightning surges, thus increasing network safety and line availability. Line arresters are particularly suitable for line areas with poor grounding resistances, areas with increased lightning activity, overhead lines without ground wire protection, and for overhead lines with increased requirements for their availability.
In addition to our standard delivery program, we offer customer-specific arrester solutions. A high degree of flexibility in our development and manufacturing processes and extensive in-house testing capabilities enable us to find individual arrester solutions for your application.
