All three designs use high quality LSR silicone that is water repellent and UV\/aging resistant for life and ensures excellent impurity behavior. This cage-like structure gives the active part high mechanical strength. Direct potting of the &#8220;cage&#8221; with LSR silicone prevents moisture penetration, thus ensuring high reliability. We use high quality LSR silicone that is water repellent and UV\/aging resistant for life and ensures excellent impurity behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Our SBKC arresters in cage design are suitable for increased mechanical requirements and offer an excellent price\/performance ratio. They can be used in substations standing or hanging, as well as in overhead lines as line arresters. The so-called composite insulator consists of a glass-fiber-reinforced plastic tube to which the silicone shields are applied by means of spraying technology. Composite insulators are characterized by very high mechanical strength.<\/p>\n<p>For our SBKT arresters, we use high-quality LSR silicone that is water-repellent and UV\/aging resistant for life and ensures excellent impurity behavior.\u00a0 An excellent sealing system prevents moisture penetration, ensuring a long service life.<\/p>\n<p>Due to their very high mechanical strength, SBKT arresters from Tridelta are ideally suited for applications up to 550 kV networks as well as for highly earthquake-prone areas.
